The island community of St. John will be out again in force this year on Sunday, October 30th at the Chaotic Kayak Race supporting Team River Runner. TRR, an adventure and adaptive paddling program for wounded and disabled veterans, will be returning for one week in October for a leadership training clinic. In 2011, a total of 16 teams took part in what was the first annual St. John Chaotic Kayak race on Oppenheimer Beach. In 2017, we ramped up to 40 teams at Cruz Bay! Hurricane Irma and Covid19 have prevented TRR from returning for what was an annual clinic but we are thrilled to be coming back. 100% of the proceeds are used to bring vets to St. John. Join us by creating a team or supporting a team. Please call or text Tom at (689) 252-1922 to participate.

Team River Runner (TRR) was founded at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2004 by Washington, D.C. area kayak enthusiast Joe Mornini who has been hosting trips for TRR members to St. John since 2007. .
